The Dallas Cowboys will kick off their preseason with an opening game against a familiar rival, the San Diego Chargers. Facing the Chargers for the fifth time in the last six years, the Cowboys will go into Qualcomm Stadium this time as defending NFC East champions recording an amazing 12-4 record in 2014. Dallas was also the only NFL team to go undefeated on the road last season.
Despite recording a 9-7 regular season record under second-year head coach Mike McCoy, the Chargers did not make the playoffs last season. Both teams have heighten expectations in 2015. Don’t expect the starters to play very long or even at all in this game.
