Dallas Cowboys rookie Tony Pollard is an extremely interesting player. He grew up in Memphis, Tennessee and played both wide receiver and corner back in high school. His senior year, Pollard lead his team to the playoffs with over 1,200 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns.
After high school, Pollard attended college at the University of Memphis, specializing as a pass-catching running back as well as a return man.
In his three years of college, he caught 104 passes for 1,292 yards. He also ran the ball quite a bit, racking up 139 career rush attempts for 941 yards.
