When the 2019 NFL Draft ended on Saturday afternoon, there were many talented prospects who did not hear their name get called. Those players instantly became undrafted free agents and teams around the league, including the Dallas Cowboys, were in a mad scramble to sign them.
One such player was defensive tackle Daniel Wise. The Kansas defender was speculated to be a possible draft selection by the Cowboys in the 2019 NFL Draft. Instead, Wise went undrafted. But according to The Athletic’s Calvin Watkins, Wise is coming to Dallas anyway. Watkins is reporting that the Cowboys have signed him as an undrafted free agent.
