Kick-off Thursday is an exciting time for fans of the Dallas Cowboys, or any NFL team for that matter, regardless of the match-up. Even without the football starvation many have dealt with, the enticing debut of the defending Super Bowl champions is never short on a great storyline.

A pregame filled with subtle middle fingers from the New England Patriots to the National Football League included a particularly appropriate sequence with Pats owner Robert Kraft prancing around with his latest Lombardi Trophy as rapper T-Pain performed “All I Do Is Win.”
And most importantly, quarterback Tom Brady, having successfully appealed his 4-game suspension in federal court, got the start.
