On one hand, the Dallas Cowboys seem very settled with veteran Kellen Moore cemented as the primary back-up quarterback to starter Dak Prescott. On the other, the team continues to churn free agency to try and find his replacement.
After not signing a veteran quarterback in free agency, the Cowboys elected not to draft one either. Instead the team signed two undrafted college quarterbacks, Cooper Rush and Austin Appleby, following April’s big offseason event.
Earlier this month, the Cowboys claimed quarterback Zac Dysert off waivers from the Arizona Cardinals, waiving Appleby in order to do so.
