OXNARD, Calif. – Two of the nine members of the NFL’s Competition Committee were on hand Tuesday to witness an all-out brawl that ended a joint practice between the Dallas Cowboys and St. Louis Rams.
Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones and Rams coach Jeff Fisher weren’t pleased with how the teams’ joint practice had to be cut short because of what has become a serious issue for the league.
The Cowboys-Rams brawl came after both coaches emphasized no fighting with their players before the first joint practice Monday.
A year ago, the Cowboys were also involved with a joint practice brawl with the Raiders on the same field.
