From the 1989 NFL season until the 1999 season, the Dallas Cowboys had arguably the most dominant trio of players that the NFL had and has ever seen. The Triplets, as they are affectionately referred to as, consisted of wide receiver Michael Irvin, running back Emmit Smith, and quarterback Troy Aikman.
Together, this trio of players accounted for 102 wins, eight playoff appearances, Three Superbowl appearances and victories, almost 350 touchdowns, and over 63,000 yards across 10 seasons as a collective threesome. They are all NFL Hall of Famer’s, while also being three of the greatest players to ever play the game.
