The Dallas Cowboys need pass rushers. Last season they ranked 25th in the NFL with 31.0 total sacks. And with defensive ends Greg Hardy and Jeremy Mincey currently free agents, and the four-game suspension recently levied on second-year pass rusher Randy Gregory for violating the league’s substance abuse policy, the Cowboys have some serious voids to fill at the position.
The Cowboys looked to free agency to help fill that need, signing restricted free agent and former Oakland Raiders defensive end Benson Mayowa last week. But it appears that Dallas is far from done.
According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, the Cowboys have scheduled a visit with former Detroit Lions defensive end and free agent Jason Jones.
