OXNARD, Calif. — Joseph Randle was never going to enlighten us on William Shakespeare’s poetry or Darwin’s Theory of Evolution, but before his “meat on the bone” comment about DeMarco Murray in the offseason the Cowboys running back was at least entertaining at times.
Not any more.
Randle is still talking, but it’s become painfully clear he’s going out of his way to say nothing. Cowboys public relations officials have been working with Randle and how he speaks to the media. They’ve even had him practice some question-and-answer segments.
Just like the Cowboys coaches, the public relations staff is getting Randle ready for the spotlight he’ll face as the club’s starting running back.
