This offseason, the Dallas Cowboys lost a key component of their team for the last decade…and I’m not referring to former starting quarterback Tony Romo. I’m actually talking about the recently retired, right tackle Doug Free, who’s departure has turned into a question mark for the Cowboys this offseason.
When the Cowboys lost Free, they lost the veteran leader of their talented offensive line. But more than that, they lost a steady player who the team could rely on in the run game. It is imperative that Dallas finds a consistent starter to replace Free’s production.
