Dallas Cowboys offense fizzles out in overtime loss to Texans

In a battle for the state of Texas, the Dallas Cowboys faced off against their in-state rivals, the Houston Texas, on Sunday night. The Cowboys’ offense started off strong using the aggressiveness of the Texans’ pass rushers against them.

Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott connecting on two long passes; one going to tight end Geoff Swaim for 43 yards and the other to tight end Rico Gathers for 32 yards. Both catches leading to field goals by kicker Brett Maher. Unfortunately, running back Ezekiel Elliott wasn’t able to make any plays rushing nine times for only 30 yards in that span.
