2014 was a big year for the Dallas Cowboys. After posting an impressive 12-4 regular season record, which included being undefeated on the road, the Cowboys earned their first postseason appearance in nearly five years.
In their first postseason matchup, the Cowboys faced the Detroit Lions in a NFC Wild Card Playoff Game. Dallas battled back from a 17-7 halftime deficit to win the game 24-20. It was the Cowboys first playoff victory since 2009.
In order to secure that postseason win, the Cowboys had to limit Detroit’s biggest offensive threat: wide receiver Calvin Johnson.
