ARLINGTON — Rolando McClain will practice on a limited basis Monday, Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said.
The linebacker, who has been on the physically unable to perform list since the start of training camp while recovering from arthroscopic surgery on his right knee, was participating in a walkthrough Thursday with the first-team defense.
McClain underwent the operation in the spring after he said it bothered him throughout 2014, when he appeared in 13 regular-season games and recorded 108 tackles. Following the Cowboys’ divisional round loss in the playoffs, McClain initially delayed the operation, hoping that rest and rehab work would strengthen the knee.
