With the signing of former Carolina Panthers defensive end Kony Ealy, the Dallas Cowboys are looking to catch lightning in a bottle. After a monster Super Bowl performance with a championship record three sacks and an interception, Ealy looked to have quite the future in the league.
Unfortunately, after fizzling out with the Panthers, Patriots and Jets, Ealy was far from a sought-after free agent in 2018. The Cowboys were able to snag the defensive end for a steal.
Despite the low price tag, it’s not crazy to think the former second-round pick could make an impact on the Cowboys.
