For the first time in awhile the Dallas Cowboys stayed out of the first round of the NFL draft. To their credit, it worked out in their favor when defensive tackle Trysten Hill fell to them. The Cowboys are staying true to their word by staying true to their draft board.
Now I had Hill mocked to the Cowboys in the third round but Jerry Jones and Stephen Jones seemed to like him a lot more. Now many people would have rather seen them take a safety in the second round but with the lack of true three-technique tackles in the draft, the Cowboys had to pull the trigger.
