Despite currently being in contract negotiations, Dak Prescott will be the franchise quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys in 2020 and for the foreseeable future. The depth chart behind Prescott includes Cooper Rush and Clayton Thorson. But the Cowboys decided to add to their quarterback room with their final selection in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Dallas made James Madison quarterback Ben DiNucci their pick with the 231st overall selection on Saturday afternoon. After transferring from Pittsburgh, DiNucci would lead the Dukes to the FCS Championship game last season. He’d completed an impressive 70.9 percent of his passes, throwing for 3,441 yards, 29 touchdowns, and six interceptions in 16 games.
