Dallas Cowboys DE Ken Boatright to be released from local hospital Saturday

OXNARD, Calif. — Dallas Cowboys defensive end Ken Boatright is being released from a local hospital Saturday after spending the last 48 hours under observation for a neck injury he suffered in practice Thursday, according to his agent, Brett Tessler.

Tessler tweeted an update on Boatright on Saturday afternoon:

“Cowboys DE Ken Boatright is being released from the hospital today… They’ll continue evaluating him & there’s no timetable for his return.”

Boatright suffered a neck injury in two-on-one pod drills Thursday at practice and had to be carted off and taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
