When it rains, it pours. That famous quote was never more apt than for Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle David Irving on Friday. The 24-year old is having a nightmarish offseason, one that will now delay his regular season debut until Week Five for the second year in a row.
According to several sources, Irving has been suspended for the first four games of the 2018 regular season by the NFL for violating the league’s substance abuse policy. The young defender was also suspended last season for the same amount of games due to his use of banned substance under the performance enhancing drug (PED) policy.
