Dallas Cowboys: Dak Prescott feels all right after eight-sack day | Fort Worth Star-Telegram

Nobody would’ve blamed Dak Prescott if he opted not to show up and serve an early Thanksgiving meal at The Salvation Army on Monday.

The Dallas Cowboys quarterback took plenty of pounding and punishment in Sunday’s 27-7 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Prescott was sacked eight times, the most in his young career.

But Prescott wasn’t going to pass up an opportunity to brighten the day for those less fortunate by providing them a meal.

“After a performance like that, after the way we played and just after a tough loss, it’s easy to just lie in bed and pout and be sad,” Prescott said.
