The Dallas Cowboys got an early Christmas gift on Sunday when they defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home, 27-20. The victory not only made the Cowboys the 2018 NFC East Champions, but it also secured them a place in the playoffs.
But the Cowboys have been trending in the wrong direction their past two games, losing in a blowout to the Indianapolis Colts in Week 15, 23-0. And despite the win on Sunday over the Bucs, Dallas’ offense struggled to put up 232 yards against one of the worst defenses in the NFL.
