The Dallas Cowboys have only two preseason games left before they have to make the gut-wrenching decisions to cut the roster down to 53 men. The quarterback position is one of the most vital positions and while Dak Prescott is the face of the franchise, behind him is a bit murky.
The team decided to sign Cooper Rush out of Central Michigan following the conclusion of the 2017 NFL Draft. For the most part he has been seen as the third quarterback following Zac Dysert’s season-ending injury. He has performed well in three preseason games thus far. His statline looks quite impressive for a signal caller playing with guys who won’t be in the NFL this season.
