OXNARD, Calif. - Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott could resume throwing during training camp practices next week as he continues to work through a latissimus strain in his right shoulder that knocked him out of practice on July 28.
The day after the injury, Mike McCarthy said Prescott would throw in a "few days," but after a planned meeting with the team's medical staff during the players' day on Monday, the determination was made to keep the quarterback from throwing a little bit longer.
"After research and looking at it we just don't want this to turn into something big," McCarthy said.
