The Dallas Cowboys thought they were bolstering their offensive line depth with a trade earlier this week but that has not worked out, at least for Week 1. Dallas placed guard Parker Ehinger on the injured reserve list and signed Kadeem Edwards to take his place Friday morning.
Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said Ehinger was injured during practice. Dallas opens the season against the Carolina Panthers in Charlotte, N.C., on Sunday.
“His knee started to bother him so he wasn’t not able to finish,” he said. “We’ll see [if it’s anything serious]. It’s day to day right now.
