Last week when Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy spoke to the media he mentioned that he was operating as if Oxnard, California was going to serve as the home for his team’s training camp this summer. The status of Oxnard has been up in the air for the Cowboys as they had to get approval from the NFL for having their camp somewhere other than their home headquarters.
Dallas was forced to hold training camp at The Star in Frisco last year because of the COVID-19 pandemic that began in March of 2020. The Cowboys have generally held training camp in Oxnard in recent years and it is somewhere they like to be and operate out of as they put together preparations for the upcoming season.
