Not only did the Dallas Cowboys suffer their first loss of the season against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday, but they lost one of their core special teams players to boot. Safety Kavon Frazier suffered a season-ending pectoral injury, which has now landed him on Injured Reserve.
In Frazier’s place, the Cowboys have promoted wide receiver Ventell Bryant from the practice squad. Undrafted out of Temple earlier this year, the 6-foot-3, 200-pound receiver is expected to pick up the slack on special teams. Bryant racked up 51 receptions for 690 yards and three touchdowns in 13 games for the Owls as a senior.
