Looking to fill the void left by running back DeMarco Murray‘s free agency exodus earlier this offseason, the Dallas Cowboys have apparently been fairly active the past couple weeks, searching for his possible replacement. On the heels of news that the agent for free agent running back Chris Johnson has been in contact with the team is the revelation that Dallas has already signed the 2014 Southland Conference Player of the Year out of Stephen F. Austin State University.
On Monday, the university’s website reported that their alumni and undrafted free agent rookie running back Gus Johnson has been signed by the Cowboys.
