On Monday, Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones revealed that the team has had discussions about free agent safeties who are hitting the open market next month. Obviously the biggest name every fan thinks of is six-time All-Pro safety Earl Thomas.
The 29-year old is still considered one of the top players at his position in the NFL. And after a turbulent season with the Seattle Seahawks last season, it appears Thomas is set to become a free agent. And why wouldn’t the Cowboys be interested?
Dallas made an attempt to trade for Thomas last season, but the asking price by the Seahawks was simply too high.
