Dallas Cowboys: 3 potential safety trades before the deadline

The Dallas Cowboys made a trade last week to acquire three-time Pro Bowler and former Super Bowl champion defensive lineman Michael Bennett from the New England Patriots. The move only cost the Cowboys a conditional seventh-round selection in 2021 with the potential to become a sixth-rounder.

Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones told the Star-Telegram that safety could be a position the team addresses before Tuesday’s 3:00 p.
