One of the biggest issues surrounding quarterback Dak Prescott coming out of Mississippi State in 2016 was his passing accuracy issues. It’s one of the reasons he tumbled down the NFL Draft to the Dallas Cowboys late in the fourth round, the 135th overall selection.
So you can imagine the shock when Prescott finished fourth in the NFL in passing accuracy his rookie season (67.8) above veteran passers like New England’s Tom Brady and Green Bay’s Aaron Rodgers. It was all part of a fairy tale rookie season for the former Bulldog, who would go on to lead the Cowboys to a 13-3 record, a bid in the division round of the playoffs and to ultimately dethrone quarterback Tony Romo in Dallas.
