Dak Prescott makes big throws to keep home winning streak alive

With 3:40 remaining in the first quarter, the Cowboys found themselves down 3-0 against the Detroit Lions on Saturday night. At their own eight-yard line, QB Dak Prescott and the Cowboys offense needed to pick up 13 yards on third down to keep the drive alive. After snapping the ball, it looked like the Cowboys were about to be down 5-0 as Lions LB Derrick Barnes had a clear shot at sacking Prescott for a safety. However, Barnes whiffed on the tackle, allowing Prescott to step aside and start rolling out to extend the play. Outside of the pocket and off his back foot, Prescott threw a bomb downfield to WR CeeDee Lamb who burned the Lions secondary and scored a 92-yard touchdown to take the lead.
