Dallas Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott won't be charged with felony domestic assault after a former girlfriend accused him of assaulting her in a parked car in June, authorities said Tuesday.
The Columbus, Ohio, district attorney's office concluded on Tuesday that there was insufficient evidence to prosecute.
"This is primarily due to conflicting and inconsistent information across all incidents resulting in concern regarding the sufficiency of the evidence to support the filing of criminal charges," according to a statement from the DA's office.
Despite not facing criminal charges, Elliott still remains under review by the NFL for potential discipline, a league source told ESPN's Ed Werder.
