We all know Tony Romo loves golf, and he’s pretty good at it. Romo has attempted to qualify for the U.S. Open in the past but recently gave up competitive golf to focus on football and help keep his back healthy.
One family member, however, has not given up golf. Tony’s dad, Ramiro Romo, has qualified to play in his first United States Golf Association event. According to a source with the USGA, Ramiro has been trying to qualify for years.
He will be one of 156 players contending for the 61st U.
