IRVING – Although Dez Bryant hasn’t been a frequent Valley Ranch visitor as of late, Cowboys wide receivers coach Derek Dooley knows when the All-Pro is in the building.
“I feel his energy,” Dooley said. “That’s why we get along so well. We have this telekinetic communication. It gets a little bit far when he’s in L.A. I can kind of hear him. But L.A.’s pretty far. But when he’s in Dallas, I can feel him.”
In hopes of landing a contract extension, Bryant has not been attending the team’s offseason program. But Dooley continues to have conversations with the star receiver and says Bryant’s “the same guy every time I see him.
