Dez Bryant said he's given away the monkey that he bought last year to a friend who lives in the country.
"I get to see him," Bryant said Wednesday during an interview on KTCK-AM 1310.
"I always wanted a monkey and I got him. He was one of us, the monkey was one of us. He got pure-A1 treatment."
Bryant made headlines last October when he announced on his Instagram account that he had acquired the monkey, naming him Dallas Bryant.
No matter how well Bryant treated the monkey, who has a Twitter account - @dez_monkey - with 318 followers, Bryant drew PETA;s ire for buying the animal.
