The hits just keep on coming for the Dallas Cowboys ahead of their week five primetime matchup at the Pittsburgh Steelers. On Wednesday, it was reported that wide receiver Brandin Cooks will miss this game - and possibly longer - with a knee infection that developed after the team’s 20-15 win on Thursday night at the New York Giants.
Cooks had yet to really establish himself in the team’s passing offense so far this season in his second year with the team, a surprising development for a Mike McCarthy called offense that was relying on Cooks to remain the reliable WR2 to top option CeeDee Lamb.
