Cowboys Waive OT Mills; Expected To Sign Veteran OT Brown For Depth

IRVING, Texas – One of the team’s newest players didn’t last very long.

The Cowboys have already cut ties with offensive tackle Jordan Mills, who was waived on Monday, nearly a week after being claimed off waivers from the Bears.

Mills, who started 29 games for Chicago the past two years, joined the Cowboys, only to suffer a foot injury in practice last week. Mills returned to practice Friday but was one of the seven inactive player for Sunday night’s game with the Giants.

While the Cowboys might still make some roster move to replace some of the injured players on the roster such as Dez Bryant, this move was likely made to add another lineman.
