The Dallas Cowboys are still suffering injuries. Just earlier today we learned that punter Chris Jones will have surgery and will miss at least a few weeks. In his place, the newly-signed Hunter Niswander will make his first start as the Cowboys punter.
That’s just the latest in a wave of injuries to hit the Cowboys this season, but they are hoping to get a reinforcement this week as cornerback Chidobe Awuzie will try to work his way back into the lineup. Awuzie practiced some last week but his workload was reduced as the week went on and eventually he was not activated from injured reserve.
