The Cowboys are swimming in injuries as we just found out yesterday that Brandon Knight, who was replacing Tyron Smith, had knee surgery and will miss at least a few weeks. That means that this week Dallas will be down to its third choice for left tackle.
One possible candidate for that spot is Cam Erving. He was hurt in the first game of the season, but coach Mike McCarthy reported earlier today that his knee is fine, so as long as he is over the illness he had a few days ago, he will be back in the rotation.
