Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones made it official Friday night. Dallas will not be re-signing controversial defensive end Greg Hardy.
During a Wednesday morning radio interview, executive vice president Stephen Jones went into more detail about why Hardy won't be re-signed despite the team's need for an improved pass rush.
"At the end of the day, you have to take risks. It's a risk-reward business," Stephen Jones said on ESPN Radio's Mike and Mike show. "We've been in business all our life, and football is a business. You take chances on players, and we have throughout our career with the Cowboys.
