Stephen Jones gets it.
The executive vice president knows a segment of Cowboys fans are frustrated with the club's quiet approach to free agency. Fiscal responsibility isn't a catch-phrase that generates excitement and quiets unrest after a 4-12 season.
His message:
"We're not sticking our head in the sand,'' Jones said Sunday afternoon a few hours before the NFL Annual Meetings got underway.
