In a new article written by ESPN staff writer Bill Barnwell, the Cowboys skill position group ranked 18th across the league. The article ranked all 32 teams in the league based off their running backs, wide receivers, and tight ends.
There have been concern across the Dallas fanbase that the team could take a step back this year offensively, as the team lost running back Tony Pollard in free agency, and released wide receiver Michael Gallup without bringing in a legitimate replacement. Heading into training camp on July 25th, it is safe to assume that these skill position players are locked into the Cowboys offensive depth chart:
RB: Ezekiel Elliott, Rico Dowdle, and Deuce Vaughn.
