Todd Archer reports that the Cowboys have agreed to terms with veteran DT Stephen Paea.
Paea, 28, is a former second-round pick of the Bears back in 2011. He played out his rookie contract with the Bears before signing on with the Redskins as an unrestricted free agent in 2015.
Paea was in the second year of his four-year, $21 million contract that included $15 million guaranteed and set to make a bases salary of $3.3 million for the 2016 season when the Redskins cut him loose at the start of last year.
