The Dallas Cowboys waived WR Javontee Herndon and TE Connor Hamlett and signed WR Corey Washington and TE M.J. McFarland.
Washington, 25, originally signed on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Newberry back in May of 2014. He lasted just a few weeks with the Cardinals before he was waived and later claimed by the Giants.
After a year in New York, Washington had brief stints with the Redskins and Lions before signing on with the Falcons back in July of 2015. Unfortunately, he was among Atlanta’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.
