IRVING, Texas -- After waiving cornerbacks Terrance Mitchell and Brandon McGee on Friday, the Dallas Cowboys signed cornerbacks Isaiah Frey and Dax Swanson on Monday.
Frey was a sixth-round pick by the Chicago Bears in 2012 when defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli held the same title there. He spent parts of the next three seasons on the Bears’ practice squad and spent time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Pittsburgh Steelers. Frey, 6-0, 190 pounds, played collegiately at Nevada and five of his seven career interceptions came his senior year.
