J.J. Wilcox is not taking part in this mini-camp because he underwent a platelet-rich plasma procedure.

The starting safety has suffered from chronic plantar fascia in his right foot since entering the league. On Monday, he had blood drawn from his arm, treated and injected into his right foot to help it heal. He can begin working out again next week and will be ready for training camp.

“It would take me 30 minutes to one hour to warm up,’’ Wilcox said. “The worst is when it stiffens up. That would be when you get done with practice or get up in the morning.
