The Dallas Cowboys traded for wide receiver Amari Cooper on Monday, and that means a lot of things.
One of the more matter-of-fact things that the trade for Cooper means is that a roster spot has to be created for him. The Cowboys have a lot of wide receivers and while Terrance Williams is on IR/suspension and Tavon Austin is ailing, it still made sense that that a receiver would be released considering that’s where Cooper plays.
Just a few hours after the Cooper trade was announced a different announcement was made.
