The Dallas Cowboys began training camp with an open roster spot and while many thought that it would be Malik Hooker to fill it, those plans have, at the very least, been delayed.
Just before Sunday’s practice (the third one of camp for Dallas) got going it was reported by ESPN that the Cowboys are bringing in a veteran defensive back, except it is cornerback Kyron Brown and not any other safety. It is reportedly a two-year deal.
Brown went undrafted in 2019 and has only spent time with the New York Jets to date.
