Damien Wilson isn’t mentioned alongside Byron Jones, Randy Gregory and La’el Collins when the conversation turns to the Cowboys rookie class.
But the fourth round pick out of Minnesota is making a strong impression.
Wilson has spent a majority of this camp as the starting weakside linebacker while the club cautiously works Sean Lee back into the mix. Now that Lee is getting more time in practice, Wilson found himself at strongside linebacker ahead of starter Kyle Wilber for a few snaps in Saturday’s walk-thru.
“He did a good job in the game,’’ head coach Jason Garrett said.
