Cowboys Release CB Tyler Patmon; Move Suggests Claiborne Ready to Play?

IRVING, Texas – The Cowboys have decided to part ways with cornerback Tyler Patmon on Tuesday.

Head coach Jason Garrett had a much-abbreviated press conference with the Cowboys experienced a short week in preparation for Saturday’s game with the Jets. Therefore, he did not address the roster move, but it’s apparent the Cowboys will be looking for more production at the position.

The Cowboys also waived linebacker Darius Eubanks from the practice squad.

Patmon entered the season as the third corner once Orlando Scandrick went down with a season-ending ACL injury.
