As the Cowboys look to trim their roster down to 53 players, they have begun releasing bubble players ahead of Saturday’s deadline. On Thursday, the Cowboys released Ha Ha Clinton-Dix, a former first-round pick at a position of need. On Friday, the Cowboys released Joe Jackson, a 2019 fifth-round pick before the cut-down deadline.
The Cowboys have waived RB Darius Anderson, TE Cole Hikutini, DE Joe Jackson and G Cody Wichmann.
